Formally organized in August 2006, the Ars Cantica Ensemble is a choral group composed of young professionals hailing from different university choirs who want to spread the Word of God through their musical talent and commitment to service.

In just a year, the Ars Cantica Ensemble has already developed a diverse repertoire, ranging from classical songs, sacred hymns, and Filipino and international songs. On its first attempt at competitions in 2007, the group won the Second Runner-Up title in the prestigious PAGCOR Chorale Festival and was chosen as one of the top five finalists in the Paskong Himig sa Lungsod ng PASIG Chorale Competition.

Also in December 2007, the Ars Cantica Ensemble was the featured choir at the Opening Ceremonies of the Amazing European Union Christmas held at The Podium and was one of the choirs invited to grace the Sing For Me Project of the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Furthermore, the group had its first TV appearance on the Christmas Eve episode of The Sobrang Gud Nite Show on Qtv.

As a testimony to its spiritual commitment and unwavering dedication to its music ministry, the Ars Cantica Ensemble continues to serve at the EDSA Shrine, Santo NiƱo de Paz (Greenbelt) and Rockwell Chapels in Makati, and at the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Chapel in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong. The Ars Cantica Ensemble is currently under the musical guidance of Ms. Julie Garcia.
